All of Yellowstone’s Interior Roads have closed for the season to allow snow to accumulate on the roadways for the upcoming winter snowcoach and snowmobile season. This includes all roads south of Mammoth and Tower, including the West, South and East Entrances. Most of these roads, except for Dunraven Pass will re-open on 12/19/07 for the winter season.
The Northern Range Highway
The road between the North Entrance and Cooke City, just outside of the Northeast Entrance is open year ‘round.
