SUMMER TOURS TO YELLOWSTONE
FROM
Big Sky, Bozeman, West Yellowstone, Livingston and Gardiner, MT

Welcome to Yellowstone!  Yellowstone Tour Guides is Yellowstone’s premiere tour company, offering private and small group tours from the north and west sides of Yellowstone.   Our 3 guides offer over 40 years of experience guiding in Yellowstone and are enthusiastic about learning more about the complexity of the greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, whether it is the volatile geology, the hot spring biology, the wildlife and their habits and the fascinating history.  Don’t just take our word for it, check out our facebook page and see why there are over 100 park rangers, tour guides from other companies, geyser gazers, wolf watchers and other Yellowstone locals following our page on a daily basis to learn more about what’s happening in Yellowstone.  We are proud to share our knowledge, even with the competition.

This summer we will be offering mainly private tours, which allow you to help determine the itinerary.  So if you would like to incorporate a backcountry hike, with an expert in bear country, try to catch some of the larger geysers, or try to view bears or wolves, our guides will be able to get you to where you want to be.  Keep in mind Yellowstone is large and very complex, and we recommend at least 2 days to get a taste of the park, and the more days you spend, the more you will get to experience.

We limit our group size to no more than 6 people per trip.  This allows for a more personal experience than the companies that offer larger groups.  You are able to ask you guide questions, help plan the itinerary to your family’s interests, not to mention plan the hours of the trip to your wants and needs.

Multi Day
This is the best way to view the Yellowstone Ecosystem.  The Yellowstone area is so large, that you can save a lot of time by working your way from one side of the ecosystem to the other.  There is no need to rent a car as we are able to start and you finish your trip from one of our local Airports (Bozeman, MT has the most direct flights, and west Yellowstone, MT or Jackson, WY are other good choices.   These packages include all ground transportation, lodging (best available- remember, if you want to stay in Yellowstone, you will want to book at least a year in advance), and trip planning (we can help you with other activities such as fishing, hiking, ziplines, rafting, mountain biking, golf, horseback riding and more- extras are not included with the package rate).  We will help you plan a vacation of a lifetime!  If you are here in the winter, we can add skiing or showshoeing to your adventure.  All you have to do is let us know what you want to do or see, and we will help you plan your private trip.

Private Tours
Available from Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Bozeman, Livingston, Chico Hot Springs and Gardiner, MT.  These day trips allow you up to 10 hours of touring time, a conversation with our staff via email to help plan you trip, and any day hikes you wish to take to get off of the beaten path.

Small Group Tours
For those wanting a private tour experience at a group tour rate, we offer Lower Loop Adventure and Upper Loop and Wildlife Tour Adventure.  Yes our rates are more for these trips, however, we are not using 20 and 30 passenger busses, smaller groups enable us to see more and do more than the others.  These trips are only available from Big Sky and West Yellowstone, MT.

Step On Guides
If you have a group traveling through the area, we can offer one of our expert guides to hop on and join your group as they travel through Yellowstone.  We are able to pick up and drop off guides at just about any location in the area.

Backpacking
Our guides are experts in the backcountry, and we can help you plan your backcountry adventure.  We will help you with bear etiquette, resource management and protection and how to camp in the back country for beginners.  Please note that these trips will not be available until 2014.
